We started this whole section because we would receive four billion e-mails every day from the online sample sale/flash sale companies like Gilt, Ideeli, Rue La La, and the rest. You know, the ones that only run a sale for a day or two.

But one thing really stumped us: How do we stay on top of all these limited time sales without going crazy?!

So we got some smart people together and figured out a way to keep track of every day's sales by category. We know there's a big difference between a Prada handbag sale and a Prada sunglasses sale, so we broke it down into categories to make sense of it all.

Even better, every day we actually rank the sales from hottest to nottest by the brand, who's hosting the sale, and style points for a great selection.
